Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo is Founder and Spiritual Director of the Sunray Meditation Society, and 27th generation holder of the sacred teachings of the Ywahoo Cherokee lineage passed down 2,860 years ago by the "Keeper of Mysteries", the Pale One, a great teacher whose name is spoken only in ceremonies.

Venerable Dhyani was trained to carry the ancestral traditions beginning in early childhood, under the direction of her grandparents and elders. As repositories of the sacred knowledge of their people, they passed to Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo the spiritual duty and blessing to carry the traditions on which her work and teachings are based.

She is also chief of the Green Mountain Ani Yunwiwa, a recognized Tibetan Dharma Center, and director of Beauty Way Productions, which offers her teachings via seminars and personal consultation.

Among her many offerings, she has hosted a Native American Elders' Gathering at Odali Utugi "Hope Mountain", the Sunray Peace Village, for 22 years.
